There is hope from the sea, but none from the grave.

While at the boat show this year, I purchased a PSS Dripless Shaft Seal (to be installed over winter during haul out) and Porta-Dolly (wheels for 10' Porta-Bote) for added mobility while moving it around on land.
As a result of an electrical surge (most likely lightning), replaced the following:
- VHF - ICOM M402 with ICOM M422
- Receiver (GPS) - RayStar 120 with RayStar 125
- Wind - ST60 Wind System Display with ST60+ Wind System Display
- Batteries - 2 Interstate 4D bateries (180 AH each)

For protection during winter-layup, added a Boomtent from Fairclough Sailmakers, New Haven, CT.
Installed a Forespar Nova Lift to assist in moving the dinghy outboard both on and off (without losing in the drink). For the most part, everything went on as planned. Due to location, I had to add a Scheafer spring loaded block so the line would run without obstacle to the winch.
Below are some of the items added so far to make the journey more feasible. Some items are for safety, while others for making our life aboard a little easier and more pleasant. There is still much to go and it will most likely continue for the foreseeable future.
